As a Canadian-owned and -operated family business, community is at the heart of everything that Gentec does. We care about the wellbeing of our staff, the partners that we work with, and the health of the communities that make our work possible.

When the COVID-19 outbreak began in 2020, Gentec stepped up. We donated PPE equipment and iQ hands-free earbuds to frontline workers at Mt Sinai Hospital, Markham Cares Donation Centre and the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital.

Led by our CEO Joel Seigel, our staff have long dedicated time and money to causes we care about. As a founding member of the Leadership Sinai Group of the Mount Sinai Hospital, Joel has helped raise over $10 million dollars for the hospital over the past 25 years.

We donate and fundraise for several other charities, including Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, the Trillium Group of Hospitals, Sick Kids, Salvation Army, the War Amps, and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada.

At Gentec, we know our responsibility to the community never stops. We are always on the lookout for new ways to help. If you’d like to discuss an opportunity with us, please get in touch at: community@gentec-intl.com
