Gentec International is pleased to announce the launch of the re-engineered architectural speaker series from Klipsch.

The improved line is a modified version of the company’s previously acclaimed series and is comprised of 17 all-new speaker models boasting the latest technological audio advancements. For consumers and installers opposed to big box speakers occupying precious floor space, the new architectural series offers the perfect balance with speakers that present a subtle and subdued look yet promise high-impact sound.

Now in its second generation, the series presents even higher sound quality with re-engineered drivers and a new crossover system mirroring the high-performance technology employed in the latest Klipsch Reference II series. Complete with proprietary Tractrix® Horn technology, each speaker offers the precision, clarity and effortless power for which Klipsch is known. The new line also features magnetic, full-coverage grilles, allowing maximum sound performance from an unobtrusive, barely-there product.

The 17 new models consist of nine in-ceiling speakers and eight in-wall speakers. With no visible plastic frame, the easyto- attach grilles cover the entire speaker for a look that’s sure to blend into any wall or ceiling. For added invisibility, the full-coverage grills can be painted to match the color of the wall or ceiling without also having to paint the speaker frame.

The 5000 Series models feature lightweight, machine-spun Cerametallic™ woofer cones for even tighter bass, as well as improved, integrated dust caps that allow additional voice coil cooling for added stability. The new 5000 Series speakers also incorporate Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) and titanium compression drivers (tweeters), while the new 3000 Series models use aluminum LTS compression drivers. The Linear Travel Suspension technology combines true horizontal excursion with a premium voice coil that maximizes both conductivity and heat dissipation while reducing distortion and increasing high-frequency dynamics.

The 17 high-quality, installer-friendly Klipsch architectural speakers are priced from $225 to $475 each. Product details can be found at www.BestSound.ca.
