The range offers updated features, including the unique and innovative anti-rotation system, which keeps the equipment securely interlocked. The whole family is extremely versatile, as a result of the different interchangeable adapters available. Additionally, all models are designed and manufactured in Italy, in accordance with outstanding quality standards.
INCREDIBLE STABILITY AND ROBUSTNESS
The new Friction Arms assure greater stability due to the newly designed anti-rotation system, preventing the load from slipping when the arm is attached to a tripod or to a bar through a clamp. This distinctive feature is available using Manfrotto friction arms in combination with Manfrotto Nano Clamp 386B-1 and with the “Easylink” connection of Manfrotto 190 series and Manfrotto 055 series tripods. As a result of the unique shape of the anti-rotation adapter, the metal ring, the arm, the equipment and the support or clamp are interlocked, ensuring the equipment attached to it will no longer rotate anymore.
There are four arms options available in this new range: the arms 244MICRO-AR and 244MICROKIT are already provided with anti-rotation attachments while the 244MINI and 244MICRO arms can be upgraded with this feature by purchasing the anti-rotation attachment, available separately.
HIGH PERFORMANCE AND VERSATILITY
The brand new Friction Arms guarantee versatility of usage, as the attachment on top of each end can be replaced with a different adapter, using the hex key included in the packaging. The kits available include a 5/8” spigot, cold-shoe, 3/8”, ¼” or anti-rotation. As a result of the various kits, users can expand the range of possible applications to suit their needs. Furthermore, the arms are entirely made of aluminium, ensuring long-lasting durability with a payload up to 3 kg. The ergonomic adjustable knob is easy to access in any scenario and allows a high degree of mechanical torque to be applied.

The new Friction Arms Range will be available at Manfrotto dealers across Canada in mid-June and have a suggested retail price (SRP) of $139.95 to $199.95 depending on kit configuration.
