Manfrotto, a leading global innovator of premium photo, video and lighting support products distributed in Canada by Gentec International, has enhanced its popular line of 190 tripods with the introduction of the new 190GO! (MT190GOA4TB).

This model completes the renowned 190 collection for advanced hobbyists and professional photographers, offering the most compact tripod yet that ensures ease of use when transporting and traveling to various shooting locations.

The new aluminum 190GO! maintains the history and heritage of the 190-family of tripods, while setting a new industry benchmark with a number of simple innovations and practical improvements, one of which is the introduction of twist leg locks. Fast to set up and operate, the new twist locks allow for the easy opening and closing of all sections at one time with one hand. Extremely lightweight at just 3.75 pounds, and compact, measuring just 17.7 inches when fully collapsed, the new 190GO! is ideal for the photographer on-the-go. Despite its compact size, the 190GO! can extend to a maximum height of 57.48 inches, ensuring there’s no comprise when it comes to deploying the legs in the field and capturing the shot.

The new 190GO! also offers Manfrotto’s renowned and patented 90° center column, which is hidden inside the tripod’s top casting. The column is accessible with a ‘one-finger’ operation, which lifts the mechanism out of the casting and allows the center column to swing to the horizontal position, with no disassembly and without removing the head or camera. With the flat upper disk, four leg angles and 90° column, which makes a more compact closed dimension, passionate users can also reach positions down low to the ground, unlike any other tripod.

Also featured is Manfrotto’s Easy Link attachment. Integrated in the top casting, Easy Link gives users to ability to turn the tripod into a mobile studio as they can insert a variety of accessories with a 3/8” male adapter, such as LED lights or reflectors via the recently announced Manfrotto Friction Arms, directly into the tripod, rather than clamping onto a leg and risking potential damage.

The 190GO! will be available mid-June at dealers across Canada and has a suggested retail price (SRP) of $269.95.
