Gentec International, the exclusive distributor of Klipsch products in Canada, is pleased to announce a three-year sponsorship deal with the Toronto Raptors (NBA).

Starting with the 2012-13 NBA basketball season, Klipsch will be the official headphone sponsor of the Toronto Raptors in a strategic partnership that will further increase the prominent brand’s visibility throughout Canada.

As the team’s official headphone sponsor, Klipsch will have a strong presence among the team and spectators. The Toronto Raptors have been outfitted with Klipsch Mode M40 headphones to personally experience the brand’s award-winning comfort and high-performance sound. With premier player DeMar DeRozan acting as the brand ambassador, Klipsch will provide a custom, Raptors-themed Image ONE, along with a Mode M40, for DeRozan to wear while traveling to and from games. DeRozan will also be part of events for Klipsch’s Canadian retail customers.

Another component of the deal to be implemented in the near future will include having the team’s announcers wear Klipsch headphones during live broadcasts of home and away games for the Raptors regular season schedule. During each game, the mascot Raptor will also be seen wearing custom-made Klipsch headphones.

To enhance Klipsch’s presence inside the Air Canada Centre, the home venue of the Toronto Raptors, in-game product giveaways and promotions will be conducted during select home games. At every home game, three-point baskets made by DeMar DeRozan will be celebrated with a brand sound clip while the Klipsch logo is shown on the 360-degree LED display. The logo will also be displayed on concourse, end zone, and courtside signage throughout the arena. A digital ad will also appear daily on the screen in Maple Leaf Square.

This exciting sponsorship deal will provide a wonderful opportunity to have Toronto Raptors players, announcers, and fans experience the legendary sound that has made Klipsch a leader in high-performance audio.
